What is geranylgeraniol?

Geranylgeraniol (GG) is a natural substance essential for bone, muscle and hormonal health, and the synthesis of vitamin K2 and CoQ10. GG production declines with age and is inhibited by medications such as statins and bisphosphonates, resulting in muscle weakness and pain.
